Established in 1973 by a dedicated group of motorsport enthusiasts, Wexford Motor Club has grown into a vibrant community with a thriving membership comprising competitors, officials, and volunteers across various disciplines of four-wheel motorsport in Ireland. As an affiliate of Motorsport Ireland, the governing body for Irish motorsport, Wexford Motor Club has consistently played a pivotal role in promoting and organizing motorsport events in the South East region, setting the standard for excellence since its inception. The club’s flagship event, the Wexford Volkswagen Stages Rally, is the largest sporting event on the Wexford calendar, generating approximately €1.5 million for the local economy each year. 

Demonstrating the commitment of its members, Wexford Motor Club organises a number of national events annually, including the renowned Wexford Volkswagen Stages Rally. Our officials and volunteers actively contribute to the promotion and management of events both nationally and internationally. The club boasts a strong competitor membership, having produced numerous Motorsport Ireland National Champions over the years.
